Before booking your treatment, please read the following important information:
Contraindications — HIFU is NOT suitable if you have:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area
- Severe active acne or cystic acne in the area to be treated
- Metal implants in the treatment area (including pacemakers, screws, plates)
- Recent anti-wrinkle injections, fillers, or aesthetic treatments (within 4 weeks)
- Active cold sores/herpes in the treatment area
- History of epilepsy or seizures
- Blood disorders or use of anticoagulant medication
- Autoimmune diseases or certain chronic medical conditions
- Severe cardiovascular conditions
- Uncontrolled thyroid disorders (please consult your GP)
Important Information Before Booking:
- Mild redness, tingling, or swelling may occur after treatment
– this is normal and temporary.
- Results develop gradually over 8–12 weeks as your body produces new collagen.
- Multiple sessions may be recommended based on your skin goals.
- Avoid sun exposure, heat treatments, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours posttreatment.
- Inform your practitioner of any recent procedures, medical history or medications.
